Putting the show for next week together yesterday I came across a track not heard for years by Motley Crue. It featured a different singer who was brought in for one different sounding album, an unsuccessful experiment after which he was replaced by the original. It made me wonder, can a lead singer ever be successfully replaced? ACDC had no choice but it seemed to work for them. Iron Maiden and Van Halen both proved it could work once but not twice. Others such as Black Sabbath and Deep Purple used numerous frontmen, never recapturing past glories. Any thoughts? The poll is open in room 975.
